Radical Sabbatical
Okay for those of you who take the time to read these silly memos I write, I thank you. I just like to share good stuff with good people. Well I’ve been on a radical sabbatical from my “real job” for the past 2 months and I am not looking forward to going back. I took the time off to find out why my body was so out of whack (started having heart trouble, high blood pressure, headaches…the works) and I’ve also used this time to develop my business and clear my mind. It has been a God send to have this time off and it has allowed me to SEE the things that are most and least important in my life. My family (husband and son especially) is #1, and money and material things are not. I’ve definitely learned how to stop overspending and buying things I don’t really need since I’ve been home. It’s been fascinating to be at home cooking, making jewelry, reading, getting proper rest, helping my son with school projects (without rushing), and spending the evenings with my husband by the fire, listening to music, reading our favorite magazines..Dwell, and Blueprint. With all of that being said, I would just like to stress to you all to make sure to take time in your life to really see it, and enjoy it.
On to other things…I’m working on my first trunk show. I am planning to have my summer line of jewelry available for purchase (bulk, wholesale, individual, and store orders) by the end of February. I am also going to be selling tons of jewelry at an amazingly discounted rate. Need to clear out my little studio and make room for more beads. Check back soon for the date, time and location of my show.
