Still Reminiscing

Found this picture the other day while looking through my iphoto travel pictures.  I forgot that D and I took this picture while in Cleveland, Ohio at the Rock n’ Roll Hall of Fame.  I didn’t post much when MJ passed away, but I was that kid who idolized him and his music.  I had the glitter glove, socks, thriller coat, beat it jacket, every MJ button there was, the Jackson’s concert reunion coat because my Dad paid a gazillion dollars so I could attend the concert, and yes the DREADFUL Jheri curl!  However, I’d like to explain that my Jheri curl was very cute, and not dripping wet. Lol! My mom would put those two combs on the side, or on one side (think Ola Ray’s jheri curl from the Thriller video, and don’t act like y’all don’t remember pushing the sides of your hair back with those bright combs and then flipping them and pushing it forward again).

Anyhoo, when I think of MJ from the earlier years, I have lots, and lots of fond memories.
